After PSA, Malik shifted to Kotbalwal, Maisuma observes shutdown | KNO

Srinagar, March 07 (KNO) : A spantaneous shutdown is being observed in Maisuma area of Lal chowk against slapping PSA on JKLF chairman Yasin Malik. Malik has been shifted to Kotbalwal Jail in Jammu to serve the detention. Shopkeepers downed their shutters soon after the news of Malik being shifted to Jammu Jail from Kothi bagh police station. Eye witnesses told KNO a large contingent of police has been deployed in the area to control any law and order situation. "JKLF strongly condemns this arbitrary arrest and use of black law PSA against a political leader and terms it as a glaring display of frustration by Indian rulers and their abettors in Jammu kashmir, "Spokesman told KNO. Malik is part of Joint Resistance Leadership consisting of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik.(KNO)
